He was a man of immense spirit and massive dreams, with a vision for his life that he was ready to chase at any cost. But his path was abruptly altered by a grueling, relentless seven-year battle with cancer. Even from a different state and city, watching him navigate that fight with such profound courage and resilience completely redefined how I view strength.
Cancer may have sidelined his dreams, but his spirit never faltered.
Witnessing his seven-year journey changed my perspective on everything. The everyday anxieties of the corporate world or the fear of taking a career risk pale in comparison to the true stakes of life. He ran out of time to chase his biggest visions, but I am still here.
I carry his courage into every strategy I build and every client I champion. Because of him, I refuse to let the rising generation play small, settle for roles that dim their fire, or waste a single moment. I am dreaming, building, and fighting for both of us now—and I am here to make sure you have the tools to fearlessly claim yours.

My father's legacy
My father spent his life navigating the demands of corporate territory sales. When he was unexpectedly laid off just prior to retirement, he refused to let a corporate decision define his ending. Instead, he and his colleagues pivoted, took a massive chance, and built a highly successful business of their own from the ground up.
Years later, when my own corporate operations career took me across some of those exact same territories, he was always close to my heart. Managing those regions wasn't just a job; it felt like walking in his footsteps.
He gave me my very first masterclass in business agility. He taught me that no matter what is thrown your way, it is never too late to reinvent yourself, take a chance, and reclaim your ultimate leverage. Today, his entrepreneurial spirit is baked directly into the DNA of Take LaChance.
My mother's strength
My mother, Nancy, devoted her life to raising our family with a level of hard work and dedication that defined our household. She was a woman of profound strength, and high standards. She showed her deep love through her actions—by consistently showing up, working tirelessly at everything she did, and making sure our physical needs were always fiercely taken care of.
She gave us a masterclass in duty, resilience, and doing things right the first time.
Growing up with her example instilled in me a powerful work ethic and an absolute commitment to integrity. She taught me that love and support aren't just things you say; they are things you prove through your actions and your dedication every single day.
